Mamaroneck trash hauler admits to 'mob tax' scam
NEW HAVEN - A Mamaroneck man pleaded guilty to federal money-laundering charges yesterday as part of a crackdown on a mob-backed scheme to control the trash-hauling industry in Connecticut and Putnam County.
