200 students at Tarrytown school sickened by stomach virus
TARRYTOWN - About 200 youths - or a quarter of the student population - who attend the private Hackley School have contracted a norovirus, spawning a health investigation into the viral infection, officials said.

Cops: Montrose man hid on roof in bid to avoid arrest
MONTROSE - Putnam County Sheriff's Office deputies went to the home of Glenn M. Tegeler, 41, of 24 Lent Ave. to execute an arrest warrant. Tegeler tried to escape arrest by hiding on the roof of the house, but deputies soon found and arrested him, police said.
